Einspielen aktueller Navigationsdaten
Some earlier drafts of the V2 manual were not particularly clear on this fact, but there are two sets of files you need to operate the UFMC, and you will need to pay to download these two sets of files once a month from Navigraph to stay up to date. One set is the psssid.dat and pssstar.dat files. An older cycle is included with the install, and these go in the X-Plane/Resources/plugins/FJCC_FMC folder. The other two files you need are earth_awy.dat and earth_fix.dat, which go in X-Plane/Resources/default data, replacing the files which Robin Peel provides for X-Plane. To get these files you will either use the ones included with the install (earth_awy_FJCC.dat, renamed earth_awy.dat and earth_fix_FJCC.dat, renamed earth_fix.dat) or you will have to download them from Navigraph in FS Navigator format and use one of the two programs which come with the UFMC to convert them, avcon.exe for Windows and FJCC_AVCON++ for OS X.
